Burkina Welcomes Partnership with UNICEF
It has been a very exciting summer at The Hunger Project-Burkina Faso. Boulkon Epicenter welcomed the Head of the Health and Nutrition Department of UNICEF and a specialist in community health on June 6. Over the course of their visit they met with animators and health program leaders.
Senegal Embraces “Green Microfinance”

Lotto Winnings Awarded to Sweden’s Girl Platform
On June 25, 2014, it was announced that The Hunger Project-Sweden was awarded 7 million Swedish krona (USD 1.02 million) from the Postcode Lottery to found the Girl Platform.
