One Wednesday, March 21, The Hunger Project-New Zealand held a movie night to raise funds for Hunger Project programs around the world, raising more money in a single evening than they ever have before. Congrats everyone!

We held a movie night in March this year, and are extremely grateful to the 177 guests who helped to make it our most successful event yet. We jumped at the chance to screen a pre-release of the acclaimed The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel in a beautiful art house cinema in Auckland. The contribution of home made fudge, a silent auction and generous gift baskets all helped to raise $4,928.00 on the night! This is double the amount we have made in the past!
We eagerly anticipate our next movie night.
