On November 5, 2011, NPM Capital partnered with The Hunger Project (THP)-Netherlands in Amsterdam to organize the fifth Run for The Hunger Project. Last year, during the fourth edition of the run, nearly 600 people competed and raised more than US$270,000. This year, over 730 runners and 105 teams raised nearly US$290,000 for THP programs in Benin!
Each team in the Run for The Hunger Project is requested to contribute at least €1,000 (approximately US$1,400) to participate. In addition to the run, participants have the opportunity to Walk for The Hunger Project or Cycle for The Hunger Project. The entry contribution for the walk and cycle is a minimum of €100 (approximately US$140) per person. Funds raised from the event were then multiplied by a generous contribution from the Wilde Ganzen foundation.
