The Hunger Project-New Zealand was formed in 1984, and since then has built up a loyal group of forward-thinking Kiwi investors and supporters who are committed to standing in solidarity with women and men living in poverty and hunger in the developing world. Many investors have sustained their support for over ten years, believing in the continued relevancy of the bottom-up empowerment model used by the organization.
