Yeguéresso Epicenter in Burkina Faso began its journey with The Hunger Project in 2003 and declared self-reliance in 2022. The communities near the epicenter have continued their partnership with THP to bolster maternal and child health and nutrition.
Our work in Burkina Faso is transforming lives. In a 2024 survey, 98% of our community partners reported that their quality of life has improved since engaging with The Hunger Project.
