World Hunger Day

Celebrate World Hunger Day with us!

Around the world, millions of people face hunger every day—often not because of a lack of food, but because strains on our food system push their food security to the edge. Climate change, conflict, and economic instability exacerbate the challenges families living with hunger face.

But there is hope.

Resilience starts from the ground up.

When communities lead, they build solutions that last. Investing in people-centered strategies creates long-term strength and stability. Because resilience doesn’t start with policies or institutions—it starts with people.

It starts with young people learning how to lead. With women starting businesses that nourish their neighborhoods. With local leaders organizing to protect water sources, distribute food, and support one another through crisis. Communities working together to build systems—social, economic, and environmental—that can withstand the shocks of droughts, floods, rising prices, and political instability.

This World Hunger Day, we celebrate the power of local leadership.

Join us in honoring the changemakers, the growers, the innovators—those working every day to sow resilience and end hunger for good.
