Boulkon Epicenter

Boulkon Epicenter is located in northern Burkina Faso. Our programs in Boulkon include intensive skills training for women in areas such as producing high-quality shea butter and creams, transforming local products into natural juices, and baking biscuits for sale. This training allows the women to generate critical income, ensuring they can support their families, send their children to school and become true drivers of economic and social transformation, with two local production units already operational.

Our work in Burkina Faso is transforming lives. In a 2024 survey, 98% of our community partners reported that their quality of life has improved since engaging with The Hunger Project.
