Bouanri Epicenter

Bouanri Epicenter, located in Northern Benin, is the newest epicenter in the country. Bouanri began its journey with The Hunger Project in 2023 to support its vision of a self-reliant future. Our programs in Bouanri include literacy classes, skills training for women and youth, agriculture training and support and the rehabilitation of boreholes to ensure access to clean water.

Our work in Benin is transforming lives. In a 2024 survey, 98% of our community partners reported that their quality of life has improved since engaging with The Hunger Project.
