Janet is a young mother living in Ghana.

Janet recently engaged with maternal and child health programs supported by The Hunger Project.
When her son was born, Janet partnered with trained leaders at her local epicenter to ensure he received the proper care.
Through this support, Janet gained the confidence and agency to keep her family healthy for years to come.
Now, Janet is committed to expanding this impact by sharing her experience and knowledge with the entire community.

Ruth is a community leader living in Peru.

Ruth works with our partner CHIRAPAQ to safeguard Indigenous knowledge and build community systems.
She helps lead the seed bank and community nursery to preserve biodiversity, support reforestation efforts and strengthen the climate resilience of wildlife.
Now, Ruth is committed to expanding this impact by encouraging other community members to get involved and sharing her knowledge with the entire community.
