She oversees major and individual giving, monthly giving, planned giving and fundraising operations.

Ruth joined The Hunger Project in 2024, bringing more than 20 years of nonprofit leadership and fundraising experience. Throughout her career, she has led major gifts, donor engagement, communications and development strategy for organizations including Prison Fellowship International and American Bible Society, as well as strategic communications at Booz Allen Hamilton. She graduated with honors from Rutgers University’s School of Communication, Information and Library Studies.

Ruth is deeply inspired by The Hunger Project’s belief that people living in conditions of hunger and poverty are leaders of their own development. Having spent time in communities across Africa, Southeast Asia, and South and Central America, she has seen firsthand the power of locally led solutions to create lasting change.

Ruth lives in New Jersey and is the proud mom of two young adults. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, serving in her local church, hiking with her dog and tackling home renovation projects.
