Andrea Arkow serves as the Manager, Stewardship & Engagement at The Hunger Project, where she creates opportunities for committed investors to meaningfully engage with programs and understand the impact of their contributions. She oversees The Core, our monthly giving program, helping to build and steward a community of dedicated changemakers.

Andrea joined The Hunger Project in 2022, bringing a career focused on individual giving across donor relations, major giving and fundraising communications — helping organizations build systems and processes from the ground up to grow their philanthropic revenue.

Her background includes work at UN Women in Istanbul and two years living in Southeast and South Asia. She holds an M.A. in Sustainable International Development from Brandeis University and a B.A. in Integrated Marketing Communications from Ithaca College.

She currently resides in the Greater Phoenix area with her husband, two daughters and pup. When she isn’t chasing around two little ones, she can be found hiking, cooking, reading, and traveling (or dreaming about traveling).
