Financial Planning & Analysis Officer


Prior to working with The Hunger Project, Mallory was the financial controller of a not-for-profit bilingual school in New Jersey, in charge of daily accounting operations, cash flow planning, budget preparation and fundraising events support. Originally from France, she completed her degree in accounting and finance in France / University College of Dublin, Ireland and started her professional career in a US-based multinational company as chief accountant assistant before joining the consolidation team in Paris. She interacted with EMEA controllers, South Asian and American sub- consolidation teams for the group reporting.
In 2005, she moved to Hong-Kong where she joined a consulting firm, part of Natixis group then transferred to their Shanghai office in 2008. In Beijing, China, in 2010, she served as division financial officer for the retail banking business of Societe Generale, providing business performance analysis and support functions expenses allocation between business lines. She actively participated to a new branch opening by tracking and monitoring costs vs. budget.

After 6 years in China, she settled down in the United States in 2011 with her husband and their 3 children. First as a corporate services manager with Altios International, she handled monthly financial reporting and cash flow forecast for about 15 subsidiaries of foreign companies in various sectors. In 2015, she worked for Simone Perele as the US Financial controller and she excelled at working on in-depth sales analysis report for the general manager. With strong work ethic, she has proven to quickly adapt to multicultural environments and she truly believes that teamwork leads to success. During her free time, she loves hiking and can be easily tempted by an ultra-trail running challenge. She also strongly advocates for plastic waste reduction and supports recycling project initiatives.
