BIO
Felix Mozerawa Akpalu is a financial and management accounts professional and currently the Director of Finance with The Hunger Project-Ghana. He has served as the Finance Officer since 2004, with a track record of overseeing the successful implementation of several projects with a financial portfolio of over $20 million.
Felix, before joining THP, was the Finance Manager at Jescan Construction Limited, Head of Accounts with The Salvation Army Territorial Head Quarters-Ghana and Accounts Manager at Shell Ghana Limited. He has managed several multi-million-dollar construction projects in Ghana. He has over twenty years working experience with chartered accounting firms, construction industry, public service and the NGO sector.
Whilst with The Hunger Project Ghana as the Director of Finance, he provides leadership for the financial management of donor funds for the integrated programs on health and nutrition, women empowerment, food security, microfinance and livelihood program, education, gender equality, water and sanitation, entrepreneurial skills development and bio-diversity programs.
Felix graduated from the Institute of Chartered Accountants as a professional accountant, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana and a Chartered Forensic Auditor from the same institute. He also holds a Master of Commerce degree in Taxation from the Pentecost University and a degree in Management and Public Administration the Ghana Institute of Legon-Accra Ghana.
