Sylvia Hernandez is a leader in Mexico’s civil society, with experience in community development, human rights, international advocacy, volunteer strategies, fundraising, and municipal administration. She has been with THP-Mexico for the past 12 years, working across the organization. She currently serves as the Head of Local Advocacy where her role is to generate alliances with different stakeholders at municipal and state levels for the implementation of strategic actions that promote community participation, community development, gender equality, participatory democracy, municipality, and more. Sylvia has a degree in international relations from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
