Besides the obvious necessity of clean water for drinking, water for agricultural activities is a crucial element in the livelihoods of millions of small-holder farmers. Yet one-sixth of the world’s population lacks access to such a basic human right and water scarcity is worsening.

REPORT: A recently released FAO report documents the impact of climate change on water for farming.
