George Roundy raises $70,000+ for The Hunger Project

In early 2006, George Roundy, long-time investor in The Hunger Project, launched a project entitled "As We Heal - The World Heals" to release 150 pounds by his 51st birthday while raising money for The Hunger Project. His project is now complete!  George has released 156 pounds and raised over $51,000 in pledges and an additional $20,000+ from an event called Celebrate Life 2007.

George says, "I trust and know that as I heal by releasing weight and increasing my overall health and well being, the healing of humanity, as demonstrated by people living lives of dignity and self-reliance while ending their own hunger, will accelerate."
