Matsekope becomes third AWFFI bank in Ghana to gain recognition!

Matsekope epicenter, in the Greater Accra region, became the third women-run bank at our epicenters in Ghana to receive official recognition. This brings to 15 the total number of recognized women-run banks across Africa, and the 15th epicenter to thus enter "phase 4" - self-reliance.

Gaining official recognition requires years of training and successful bank operations, led at our epicenters by the women participating in the African Woman Food Farmer Initiative (AWFFI)
