Intern, Strategy and Impact

The Hunger Project is offering an internship to assist members of the Strategy and Impact team to increase The Hunger Project's advocacy efforts and policy influence.

The Strategy and Impact Intern would:

  • Create and update a calendar of events of relevant development conferences, seminars and meetings for the Strategy and Impact team to attend and/or participate in;
  • Seek outreach opportunities with the South Asian and Latin American community in the United States;
  • Foster Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) relevant relationships with universities in the United States; and
  • Accept additional assignments in support of the operations of the Strategy and Impact team.

We request interns to work a minimum of 10 hours per week. We prefer candidates whose schedules allow them to work Mondays or Fridays.

Qualifications

The Intern must have:

  • Strong commitment to gender-focused, people-centered development.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Interest in Outreach and Monitoring and Evaluation.

Compensation

This is an unpaid position. Course credit may be available.
