The Hunger Project office opens in Ethiopia

When Joan Holmes was in Ethiopia to participate in the heads-of-state-level meeting of the UN Millennium Project Hunger Task Force, our team took this opportunity to inaugurate the new office of The Hunger Project in Addis Ababa. 

There is real momentum in getting The Hunger Project underway. Once the underwriting funds were received on March 31, The Hunger Project Ethiopia received its permits from the Ministry of Justice by April 23 and its operating agreement with the government in May.
